Program Overview:

The CCDS Life Connections Academy is a signature program created to help individuals with developmental disabilities achieve independence, build meaningful community connections, and prepare for long-term success. 

 Key Features:

• Independent Living Skills- Training in cooking, budgeting, safety, and daily household management. 

• Career & Micro-Business Development- Job readiness training, internships, and support for small business ventures. 

• Community Leadership- Volunteer opportunities, client-led events, and recognition through CCDS Community Builder Awards. 

• Wellness & Creative Expression- Adaptive fitness, art, dance, and music activities to promote health and self-expression.

•Family Empowerment- Caregiver workshops, family nights, and a Family Advisory Council for collaborative input.
